Instructions for authors

Oral, flash presentation and poster abstracts (maximum 300 words) are now invited on the Workshop topics and should be submitted using the online abstract submission system by May 15, 2018.

The international Scientific Committee will review the submitted abstracts and notify the corresponding author about the acceptance by June 15, 2018.

The abstracts of all accepted contributions will be included within in the Workshop Proceedings, which will be distributed to all registered conference participants.

The authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit a review article to be considered for publication in a Special Issue of Food Engineering Reviews. The acceptance of a contributions for conference presentation does not guarantee subsequent acceptance for journal publication.

Oral, flash presentations and posters are scheduled in 3 plenary sessions. The date and time of presentations will be listed in the Final Program of the Workshop.

Oral Presentation: each speaker is given 10 minutes to make their presentation. Questions and discussions will take place in the round table at the end of the session.

Flash Oral Presentation: each speaker is given 5 minutes to briefly introduce the content of the work, which will be presented in detail during the immediately following poster session. Questions and discussions will take place during the poster session and, collectively, in the round table at the end of the session.

Poster Presentation: each contributor should prepare a poster of maximum size 90 (width) x 120 (height) cm. The poster sessions will take place during the coffee and tea breaks.

Please note your abstract may be accepted into the scientific program as a different presentation type to your preferred one.
